Heirlooms and BF6/Thanks Again WLP
Here we are again sitting and pounding some coffee. I am about to load my truck headed out to Born Free. Decided to haul the 883 out. Wait some of you might not have even seen it. I bought a 1989 883 Sportster about three weeks ago now. After I fixed all the broken shit on it I have only had it on the road about week with it being solid. So for the first time ever I am going on a vacation. The only plan I have is being at Born Free on Saturday. If you are there we can hang out I'll be the guy in Vans with a sweet beard. But seriously last time I was out there three years ago I met some way cool people so don't be scared. Count down till take off 5, 4 ,3 ,2 ,1.

When I'm Busy I'm Busy..........
Kinda been out of it the last two weeks. Sorry but by now if you haven't found my Instagram do so. Its Anchormoto. So here is the last two weeks in pictures. Been busy on customer stuff and tomorrow I go pick my tins up and another Ironhead to work on. Good times. Helped Tyler fix his Ironhead last week when his mechanical advance went Boom! Never in all my years seen a set go that bad and the bike still kinda ran. Got a 750 Honda I am throwing together for a club brother and I have Nick Reynolds Digger in for a new set of pipes. I did these real quick but Nick wants them going one out the left and one out the right. So the front pipe is gonna go out the left side and the rear goes out the right. Ill give it a go. I do like these over/under pipes though. On to the next week. Top 5 SaturdayTop 5 reason to Love/hate everything!
Number 1. It is the ying yang of the universe there is simply no way around it.
Number 2. I'll take motorcycles for example there are so many things I love about them and flip the coin and there are more things I hate about them.
Number 3. Some kind of love there some kind of Hate. I'm gonna tell you all about now. Misfits song says it all.
Number 4. Knuckle tattoo's . Seriously they fit perfect. You want to be tough then here is the answer.
Number 5. There are some bands out there that upon first listen I fucking hated with all my soul. Then many months or even years later I hear them again or in the background and I'm all like Huh what is this. Then I find out and they are my new favorite band till I wear it out then I hate it again.
So After.....
So after many many moons I have to report the Norton project is finally done. Like in the books I have rode it and it rips. Took it out to my favorite spot in the sticks and shot the pics of it next to the puffy clouds. I really had no idea it was gonna be so fast and punchy. I will say between a Triumph, Bsa, or Norton the Norton will straight spank the others. So Russ the owner finally has his bike in his garage. Granted none of the extreme amount of time was do to me but the shop that built the motor did a shit job and really made the project take 2 years longer then it should have. Oh well and never ever use Baxter in Iowa for any kind of service work. EVER! Maybe one of the weirdest builds I've done but I feel more satisfaction with this one because it pushed me to think outside my little chopper worm hole I have stuck myself in. I'm right back in it now!

SLC 2014 Visit
Found myself with a week off. Decide to go make a little road trip. Went through Nebraska and yes I listened to the Boss as some sort of homage. Hung out with Dennis Saum in Marquette Ne. He has some nice cars and has been building hot rods since 1958. Good stuff indeed. Best thing was I mentioned I was looking for a flathead and with one phone call and 1000 dollars out of my pocket I now have a running flathead for the truck. Made my way to SLC to hang out with my best friend Jay. It was so cool to see him and get a deluxe tour of the city. We got his FXR dialed in so I could ride that. I liked it a lot and I wasn't even sure I had ridden because I wasn't sore or achy. Whatever enjay and I'll post a bunch of shit this weekend. Pangea bars went on the second I got home. Andy was way cool.

Week in Review Kinda/ Top 5 Sunday
Of course after my last week at the day job nothing was going to go smooth. I need to download all the real pics from this week but I sold my Ironhead to a friend in the club. Actually I have no sellers remorse really. That bike showed me a ton of lessons and got me in front of the learning curve as old Harleys go. I felt It was time for a change and BANG its gone. So what I did do was score a 1989 883 Sportster and I picked up a 1978 RD 400 Yamaha. So sell one buy two and still have a wad of money in my pocket. Already have the 883 all ripped apart and is getting a full on work over. Rewiring the whole thing and think I am going in the street chopper swingarm vibe. 4 over tubes and leave the rear stock. All black paint and gold mags maybe. High mount the tank and regear the rear sprocket down for highway riding. Plan as of now is to ride this one to Cali in a month. We shall see.So I'm sitting here trying to drink ALL the coffee and think of a top 5. Usually I have already thought this shit out but this Sunday am I am all kinds of Poo Brained.
Top 5 reasons for Poo Brains
Number 1. No Sleep No Money No Time No Stopping the thinking right back to No Sleep.
Number 2. New bike means thinking about all the options over and over and then changing your mind over and over.
Number 3. Feel like I could use a few months off in the wilderness. Just a tent and a motorbike. Living in the world and just riding all the bullshit out of my life. That would also go into the dreams and shit scenario.
Number 4. My body is not soaking up the coffee fast enough!
Number 5. Listen to Fucked Up and you"ll understand!
