Greaserama Trophy

This trophy is for best Choppa at The Greaserama 09. We are gonna have a separate one for the Anchor pick. So if you have a chopper and are planning on attending Greaserama this fine piece of art(cough cough) can be yours. The Punk Rods will choose as a group which bike will win. Lucky for all Ricky, Tony and Johnny's bikes are not being judged. Anyways the show is Sept. 4,5,6, and is always a good time.

Hit the Switches!!!

Made my switch box today. I will mold the box and then run all the wires in the frame for that oh so clean look.On/off and lights is all you need people and I will put the hi beam switch in the headlight. 1 1/2x3 box and I hand cut the Aluminum door and mounted the switches. Ground the box to fit the seat post and drilled some holes for the wires.Done

Smut Peddler

Just like vintage bikes, they don't make them like this anymore. Damn it!

Anamosa Part.3

Update blog whore

Exhaust is done for now. Once again I have to cover up a hundred welds with wrap but I did have a chrome fish tail to clean up the ass end. I wanted these a tight as I could keep them to the motor/frame. Should be crazy loud and they are a pain in the rear to get on. All that is left is a oil/battery box and finish up the frame welding.

Idol hands do the painting business

I have been wanting to paint these tanks so here they are. I really have been liking simple paint jobs lately. Just trying to figure out how to work the layers with out having it get all hairy or just falling off. I did the Wassell tank in two different colored primers. Then used some good clear. As for the sporty tank I wanted a little more Wack-a-doo paint job. I like the flow and the color scheme so after many hours of prep and follow through I am glad it pops. I will have all the lines pin striped with a little black lines and that should make it pop. Once again I want to thank Eric Meyers for the one cup and not a drop more of Orange paint.

In the sun

I needed to get this out side and see how it was looking. This is gonna be tall, skinny, and have enough ground clearance to jump curbs. Perfect in other words.Still need to figure out a oil tank/battery box and the pipes.

Flow is all I need.

Well I decided the wheel base was a little out there so I cut 4 inches out of the back end. This looks allot better and will work out best. I cut the tunnel out of a Wassell tank and high mounted it. Seat is a Anchor seat pan then covered and the fender is a Flying Weasel Garage piece. Check out his blog. Well I am well on my way and the next update should have the motor mounts done and the oil bag in place.
