Good title and all it needs is all the little stuff. Top end is redone and looking pretty. Motor is all bolted in and the front end is just sitting in there. Hit me up and yes if you are super serious I will ship anywhere in the world. Wassel tank is not for sale.

Dream Sickle

I can't even imagine any swingarm shovel looking any better then this one. Damn even the color is perfect. Bars and seat are questionable but still work for this style bike. Fucking clean and very well thought out. Kudos to the owner. I hate you!

KKOA 2012

Yes kids it's been a whole year since the last show. Crazy but the weather did not disappoint. Hotter even then KC so we ran around and then split to come home. Love seeing nice well built cars. So enjoy and I missed the deal of a lifetime on a shovel today. Bummer time.

Proof

I have looked at this picture 1000 times and it never ever gets old.

Top 5 Saturday

Top 5 for Saturday is the story of love and hate. 2.5 things I love and 2.5 things I hate.

Number 1. Most hated thing in the world to me is fake people. Fake punks, fake bikers, fake whatevers. Nothing gets my blood pressure higher then hearing some ass say I WANNA BE A __________. There is only one way to be anything and that is to just BE. If you are gonna be a biker then you should probably ride a bike, if you are calling yourself a punk then you damn well better listen to and be punk. If you are just some old dude that loves bikes then that is what you are..People call themselves fabricators but can't weld, or even better they say they built a bike and what they are saying is they bought a bunch of shit from BLAH BLAH BLAH and bolted them on there bike. I'm calling you out.

Number 2. Second most hated thing is a back stabber shit talking half stepping shit stinking back stepping I didn't say that mother fucker. I say what I want and usually I have a legit reason for saying it. I will say it to your face and either you can take it with a grain of salt or step up and give me an ear full. I have had people call me out on some shit and I respect them for it. I will not and do not respect shit talkers that talk all kinds of shit behind someones back and when you call them out on it they skulk back into a corner. Words are important and being able to use them is also important. Anyways with out backstabbers there would be no hardcore scene, every band on earth has written about it. Funny how out of something bad comes something good.

Number 2.5 PT1. I am in a serious funk about bikes at the present. All the customers that have been calling I have blown off and that is not so good. But they all have these terrible shitty projects. Like a half chopped CB 125. So with that said please if you are reading this and have been wanting some work done don't wait any longer shoot me an email and lets get the ball rolling. Of course I can help with a current project but my love is the big picture type builds.

Number2.5 PT 2 Things I love as in my motorcycles. Sometimes I will just sit and stare at my bikes and still get that goofy feeling that these are mine. I will park my bike at work so I can walk by and get a glimpse of it while I am slaving away in the shop. It helps get me through the day. Why settle for a bike you don't love. I have had allot of people say that "If I had the money I would build______". Well why not have something you really want. A little sacrificing goes along way.

Number 3. Girls, Women, Females, Chickies, Babes, whatever you call it is a joy to be a male. Pretty girls are like a burden to men. They make us do DUMB shit over and over and we will do it again if giving the chance. Doesn't matter if the world was on fire and if a pretty young thing walked by you, you would stop and look. Who cares if you are on fire there is a pretty girl right in front of you. Silly I know at 38 to still  be girl crazy, but damn if they weren't so cute I wouldn't care at all. Damn

Number 4. Friends like in real friends. I have to say I am by nature a loner. I am who I am and most people don't like that. So I go about my business like everybody else just alone. I like riding my bike alone, skateboarding alone, listening to music alone but as of late I have been hanging out with some true friends. I like friends that aren't needy and say shit like "Why haven't you called me?". I hate that shit they have a goddamn phone to. I have some amazing friends I have bonded with through music, cars, bikes, geek stuff, etc etc. Even with my crazy juggling of time I appreciate the little bit I get to just hang out. So thanks.

Number 5. The Wife and Kids. Everyone has there support system either it is your parents or friends, AA, NA,or maybe MA. Motorcycles Anonymous. Funny I know. Anyways without the wife and kids this whole world would be for not. So Love the ones you love and hold them tight and disregard the ones that only steal time from you. Time is the enemy and it is a mother fucker. Kids grow up to fast and the faster they grow the older I get it is just fucked. Bikes are a really good distraction but the real deal is right in front of you. So there it is my friends another Saturday wasted.

I Want This To Be Real

God it has been so fucking hot here I can't believe it. Over 100 every day and no end in sight. Still been riding everyday but the rides home are terrible. The back jug on a ironhead is hot anyway and then you throw in the 106 degrees on top and you have the makings for some hot privates. Anyways eating some ice cream and hanging out tonight.

Daves Brown Bitch

Dave is about done with his Digger. This is the same bike I built like two years ago, rode it about a month and the bike tried to kill me so I ripped it apart and the pieces sat in the corner until Dave got them. Let me just say not everyone can build a bike. It takes some patience and allot of time. Dave has both and not to mention the skills as a fabricator and idea man. There isn't a single piece on this entire bike that has not been fucked with. I truly am happy Dave built this bike and now KC has a true honest to god digger rolling it's streets. He has already had a flat tire and chips in the sick paint. That is the way it goes. That carb is seriously the craziest thing I have every rode with. It goes from idle to wide open in one blip of the throttle. Love it. We did a little motor work and made sure the motor was tits and it is. Noot did the machining and I put it all together two years ago now. Dave spent a week polishing the motor and it looks killer diller.  Ozark Hillbilly digger riding punk rod mother fucker. Love it Dave

Top 5 Monday

A few days late but I have been a busy little bee. Saturday we got Shea's car in primer and it looks amazing in one color. Michael is coming down to hang out and shoot the roof. So top 5 is gonna be kinda a repeat but I have some other thoughts on the subject. Why you should own a Ironhead Sportster

Number 1. If you like to work on your bike they will never leave you enough time to ride them. Wrench, ride, break, wrench, cuss, ride. etc etc. I get at least one call a week from some kid wanting to HELP at the shop. I understand they want to work and be around motorcycles but what I say is go buy a old bike and just give it a shot. If you want to learn allot real quick buy a old sportster.

Number 2. If you want to have that cool guy swagger in your step then a sportster will get you one real quick. Every missed a kick and had that bike drop kick you like a sack of shit. I have and last week up at Noot's place his bike kicked my knee into the past about 50 years. Still can barely walk with out a pimp stroll. Luckily my bikes start first kick and I love them for that.

Number 3. So many choices to choose from. Lately I am loving the early models like 57-68 or so. So fucking clean looking and classy. The stock versions are so cool I just want one to cruise around on but we all know how it is gonna end. Chopper glory. Sportsters make the cleanest most bitchin choppers out there. Yeah the clowns have all the same look but if you try some different stuff with them they can take on any look.

Number 4. They are fucking cheap like really cheap. I know I said I would never ride or own a Harley and part of it was the cost. So now all I own is Harleys and I don't think I will ever lose that passion for them. I love all kinds of different bikes but the sound and feel for a Vtwin is like a drug. So with that said for the price of a shitty xs650 chopper you can buy a clean running Ironhead. This should be a no brainer. 1000cc of brutal stump pulling good times versus a janky ass 650 that some crack head pieced together from TC bros. I do believe Tony might have the best xs in the world but ask him how much he has got into it..

Number 5. I don't think that a Ironhead is the best bike in the world but I can't think of a better bike for me. I give my bikes allot of attention and whatever they need I will figure out how to get it. These bikes will only be as reliable as you make them. My 68 has been running great all year and just doing the bare minimum works wonders. So here is some things to ponder

Street Chopper?

I want this fucking bike so bad I am mad. Swan is the kid that owns this fine sled. Good kid and works at the local coffee shop. He has a old Ranchero and bought this Enduro 400 to haul his ass around until the car is done. This bike is exactly what I am wanting. Think of the possibilities, curb jumping, park donuts, wheelies everywhere, and the sound these big single 2 strokes make is ungodly cool. Check out the 3 Harbor Freight led flash lights for a headlight. Trailer light on the bike just straight bolted through the fender. Rolling dirty as a coal miners chonies. Some kinda jap street bars and that is that. Damnit if you are reading this and know where one of these is rotting let me know seriously. No front fender means its a bobber right?

Todd's Ride Out

Just want to say thanks to everybody that made the Memorial ride and drive for Todd. Pretty awesome turn out and we gave him a proper send off. There were like 5 miles of cars on the highway all the way out to Lawrence from KC. Tons of great bikes and the burial sight was perfect. Anyways time to get ready for Greaserama 2012 let the paper fly.

La Troca

Went down to the shop this morning and buttoned up the truck. I took the entire front end apart and inspected and replaced everything. Steering box, pittman arm, drag link, cross link, all got updated and/or replaced. while I was at it I pulled the leaf springs out and bought a set of 3 inch drop Posie springs. Now the truck sits almost level, I like the reverse rake it lets everybody know I am from Cali and that is how we do it. Exhaust manifold gaskets finally got change as well as the spark plugs and oil. I spent a few hours sanding and repainting all the spots that got boogered up this last year and am looking forward to going to the KKOA show out in Salina in a few weeks. It is a great show but the temps are always fucked. Anyways just thought I'd share a few pics.

Iowa Is the Place To Be

It seems like every thing I do involves going up to Iowa. Let me just say the coolest people are from Iowa and that is that. Maybe it was all the corn jokes growing up or something. So Shea and I headed up to Noot's slice of Iowa and got my Ironhead all sorted out. It was a bunch of little shit that made it not work. Little Noot and Big Noot had it all figured out in no time. I put it all back together and we got to go run around Charles City Iowa. Many of you have heard me say things about Noot and they are all good. The best dude to know in the world if you are gonna ride a Ironhead and the Pops knows a thousand times more then me and Little Noot put together probably. Noot let Shea roll the Digger and let me just say that bike is the cleanest well built bike I have seen in a while. So check out the three 900's rolling around. After it was all said and done Noot took my bike for a little roll around and he came back with big smiles. Even Noot looks tough on the Big Iron. So a big thanks to Shea, Little Noot, Big Noot, Mama Noot, Noot's lovely Wife and the fact my bike is now road worthy. Thinking about getting the Noot's cycle logo tattoo'd on me. What do you think?
