What in the world?

Like most of you I enjoy looking at blogs. I like to see what people are building, what projects people have going on and basically a little peep show into peoples lives. For the most part I like what I see but I have to say today I got so pissed off I had to share. For the most part I hate anything to do with bro's, drunk assholes, weed, bad tuff guy music, shitty bikes/cars (my opinion of course), and anything that has been done before. Like swazi's, it has been done before. Bikers in the 60's tried to freak out the squares with them, Sid vicious freaked out some limey ass's with them but seriously it has all been done before. If you are just a racist then straight up fuck you anyway. All I see going on right now are a bunch of Bro's trying to be the next big biker star. Trust me when I say this but your image doesn't mean shit. Just because you dress like a period correct biker does not mean you are a biker. Shaving a fashion hawk does not make you a punk. Wearing a pair of Vans and a Pendleton does not mean you grew up in SOCAL. Bolting a bunch of crap from ebay together does not make you a bike builder. Do you get it? The Anchor is our little piece of magic. We have made it exactly what we want and you will never see a swazi/iron cross, bad paint job, sloppy, pile of shit leave our shop. Further more I would rather have the 6 friends that know what is up in the big scheme of things then a bunch of fly by nighters that are jumping on some kind of bandwagon. Anyways my whole life my mouth as got me in trouble so why should I quit now. Fuck all the fake ones and love the real ones. Anchor Motorcycles

Whats the Haps

Well it is the time of year that we start dreading the winter. The first cold days have landed on us and the joy free days of riding in a tee are over. Just a reminder to the people that have been wanting to drop there bikes off to get chopped. Now is the time. Winter is the best time to have your bike worked on, no days missed riding and when spring hits you are riding some chopper glory. As for us we have all started our winter projects, I have a new frame for my ironhead that is gonna be koo koo. Tony is some kind of backward ass chopper deal now owns my old red bike. Johnny is getting his 350 done and is already planning the next build. Good times and feel free to drop Tony or I a line to get your cycle done up proper.Full paint, engine rebuilds, frame mods, wacky parts, street racers, whatever it is as long as it is not stock we are into it.

Sitting pretty

So I have got the 51 sitting were I want her now. Through the years this poor truck has been used and abused. They mounted the rear end under the leaf springs for height reasons I suppose. So about 50 bucks and a after noon and I flipped the rear to the top. Added a 3 inch C notch in the rear frame rail. As for the front they had added 2 inch blocks to raise it up gasser style so I took those out and then removed 3 leafs from each side. To me this is a good start as far as stance goes. I am super picky about how a car sits. I am not into air bags/hydros so doing it the old school way is the only way. Now if I get a dropped axle in the front all I have to do is block the rear and it will be killing grass. Hood is gonna have about 500 louvers punched in it real soon. Enjoy
