F Stop F-ing Rules

Brad Finch stopped at the shop today and captured the final thrash on Josh's bike. Look him up on flicker and check out his pics. Josh is stoked and all we have left is the paint on the tins. Look out for the final details and I will post a full build of the details when we can ride this thing.

  1. I see you've got your own security guard.

  2. Lucky for us we get to build bikes for our local police officers. That cuts down our chances of getting tickets dramatically. I have a great story for you next time we hang out

  3. I can't wait to see the finish. I like to figure out how you decide what Carb to use on the 1 into 4 setup for the carbs. Is there math involved or seat of the pants jetting? I have a 500 that I'd like to go to one Carb, but what type and size Carb to use is the question. ????

  4. Well the theory behind these intakes we build are really based on old Hot Rod technology. As for the carb we have been using the 32 mm Mikuni round slide for these. I figured if my 650 Triumph ran great with one carb I should be able to get one to work on a 550. Tony set up his bike with a s&s so really anything is possible. This set up is what we are in the middle of building to sell. So look out.

  5. I was enamored by Tony's 550 when I saw it in the horse and if I had the cash I would have drove out there from new York to buy that scoot when it was for sale. Helluva deal! I'd like to see more of the hardtail fabrication on this bike here. It looks like you cut some of the formed backbone and replaced it with round. That looks tight like that. Kinda corny, but I check this blog daily because your builds are diverse and not brand loyal. You build sick bikes and I want one of those intakes. Seems you got it figured for the little 500/550's. I dig ur style.
